Hey there!
I am Paulo Reis, and you are seeing my wordpress site for my portfolio, and things that I find cool, or weird enough on the Internet that are worth sharing.
I had studied animation for one and a half year in Brazil before I came to the U.S. I discovered my passion for giving a soul to lines on paper when I was 15. I knew that if I wanted to make a living out of animation, I had to move to another country. Brazil is an incredible country with the sweetest people; however, it is a 3rd world country, and a career as an animator there is unrealistic. Therefore, I moved to U.S at the age of 18 and I am currently a Visual Arts student.
I am not afraid of the hard work. Even though English was a huge obstacle in the beginning, I promised myself that I wouldn’t give less than the best of me in this country, and that’s what I`m proudly doing. I earned awards in my English classes, all my drawings are exposed on the school`s hallway, and I`m happily the president of the NEW MEDIA CLUB.
Since I am a Visual Arts student, my portfolio in this website includes both personal and academic work. It varies from figure drawings/ oil paintings to digital animation.
